I was born and raised in Los Angeles in a big, blended family: five brothers, four parents, a bearded dragon, a hamster, and a maltipoo named Chuck Norris. My childhood was a mix of science and creativity, thanks to being raised by two NASA rocket scientists, a psychoanalyst, and a Disney-alum graphic designer.
I fell into film completely by accident. When I didn’t make the ninth-grade choir, I needed a new elective and figured “watching movies for class” sounded fun. That Media Arts class set me on a path I’ve followed for more than thirteen years, from studio lots to bus tours to an unexpected brush with TikTok virality (7.9 million views and counting).
Along the way I’ve worked with kids almost nonstop: summer camps, a decade of Girl Scouts, endless babysitting shifts, and later programs like Seacrest Studios, Higher Ground, and Young Storytellers. Helping young people light up when they’re given the tools to express themselves is work I take real pride in.
When I’m off the clock, you’ll usually find me crafting, baking, DIY-ing, playing video games or D&D, dressing my cat in ridiculous hats, or hunting for treasures in the aisles of Costco.
